At CISRA, we seek only the best and so, our recruitment & selection process is geared towards finding the top engineering talent in Australia and beyond. Our selection process is rigorous and challenging. We make it complex, and questioning is aimed at identifying both the depth and breadth of a candidate's technical knowledge and problem solving skills.

Our standard selection process consists of:

1. Online application - www.cisra.career.com.au

Job seekers create and submit an on-line CISRA Profile. This involves submitting an up-to-date resume and academic transcripts (if graduated in the last 5 years).

Creating your own Profile allows you to:

  • Maintain your own unique User ID and Password
  • Update your own personal details - including contact details, resume etc.
  • Apply for additional jobs
  • View all the jobs that you have applied for
  • Know the status of your application in the recruitment process

Forgot your Password?

  • No worries - click on the "Forgotten your password?" link

Once your application has been submitted, you will receive an email from CISRA acknowledging receipt of your application.

2. Application review by CISRA technical experts

Applications are reviewed by a wide range of CISRA technical experts. CISRA prides itself on its ability to offer career diversity and, as such, individual applications are reviewed by diverse technical groups - from software to hardware - in order to ensure a "best fit" within CISRA.

3. 1st Interview

First interviews are generally conducted as "panel" interviews as this allows us to draw from our wide skills base in order to fully identify candidate expertise and also to assist with possible career planning for the candidate.

The 1st interview will focus on the candidate's background, qualifications and employment experience. It will also include problem solving exercises and some assessment of technical abilities.

4. 2nd Interview

The second interview is generally also conducted as a "panel" interview. These interviews allow us to go into greater detail about specific job and project information. It also provides an avenue for dealing with any questions that may have arisen from the initial interview. We may also include a tour of our offices, work area and meeting the prospective team at this stage.

5. Reference Checks
